The Role
Be part of a fast-growing and dynamic environment in an asset-servicing fintech firm! To support rapid business growth, we are looking for a high caliber Finance Manager to join our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the group level finance function. The candidate will be a valuable team member as he or she will use their accounting and finance expertise to add value in the finance function of the firm.

Responsibilities
• | Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including but not limited to AP/AR, keeping track of billings and collections, all transactions at the group level |
• | Liaison and working closely with external parties for tax preparation, statutory audits of the group entities, banking matters, investment transactions, and other finance related transactions as needed |
• | Prepare budgets and forecasts at the group level and monitor actual vs. budgeted performance on a monthly basis |
• | Track the company’s financial position and P&L performance and identify areas for potential improvement. Propose methods for minimizing financial risk to the company |
• | Research and analyze financial reports and benchmarking analysis |
• | Provide insightful information to senior executives to facilitate short term and long-term decision making |
• | Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports |
• | Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings |
• | Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes |
• | Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the group |
• | Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation |
• | Prepare ad-hoc reports as required by management from time to time |
Requirements
• | 8+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience. Experience obtained from large corporates, financial institutions or the Big 4 accounting firms will be highly regarded |
• | Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills |
• | Able to work under pressure, multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment |
• | High integrity and accountability for proposing solutions, time management and reporting back to management in a timely manner |
• | Detail-oriented and analytical, able to perform work with high accuracy, mature, self-motivated |
• | Good problem-solving skills and a team player |
• | Proactive manner with excellent organizing and planning skills |
• | Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) |
• | Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) |
• | Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Finance or related field, qualified accountant with a recognized institution |
