The Role

To support rapid business growth, we are looking for a high caliber Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating the hiring strategies across Hong Kong and Mainland China and managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle from searching, selection, interviewing, negotiation and on-boarding. The candidate will be a valuable team member as he or she will use their network to search for suitable talent for the firm and be the first contact point for prospective candidates.

Responsibilities
• | Develop and execute talent acquisition and employer branding tactics for talent attraction |
• | Understand business hiring needs for various departments within the firm; maintaining a strong communication channel and collaborating with hiring managers |
• | Train and advise other hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods |
• | Create and publish job ads on various portals |
• | Screening and short listing resumes and job applications for presentation to various departments |
• | Coordinate interviews with qualified candidates |
• | Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process |
• | Build up network in the talent market; maintain connection with passive candidates for future hiring needs |
• | Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire |
• | Undertake ad-hoc research relating to talent acquisition and retention; propose relevant ideas to management |
• | Prepare management reports on a regular basis and working very closely with the marketing department on employer branding relating to HR matters |
• | Ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time |
Requirements
• | 6 years+ of proven and hands-on talent acquisition experience from in-house and or recruitment agencies; experience in the Finance or FinTech sectors are highly regarded |
• | Knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques on social media |
• | Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills |
• | Able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment |
• | High integrity and accountability for proposing solutions, time management and reporting back to management in a timely manner |
• | Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) |
• | Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant discipline is highly regarded |
