The Role

To cope with our business growth, we are looking for Portfolio Monitoring Associate to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis and performance reporting of investment performance for private equity funds and affiliated funds.  He/She will also provide our clients and their investors with quarterly investment/financial analysis details and other related calculations on investor reports as requested.

Responsibilities

Prepare written and verbal presentation to the clients;
Provide portfolio monitoring services for clients including collecting, preparing and processing of portfolio transactions and financial for reports;
Prepare investment analysis and portfolio reporting;
Maintain level 1, level 2 and level 3 data for clients using our portfolio services;
Prepare and maintain the portfolio companies’ financial in the SMP system;
Review and verify the portfolio data with those stated in the quarterly report;
Provide support to clients’ and investors’ inquires;
Prepare investor capital and distribution notices;
Prepare ad hoc requests regarding fund and investor specific reports as well as analysis;
Prepare partners’ capital account statement;
Prepare fund annual and quarterly financial reports;
Participate in pre-project stage discussion with the clients and to define more detailed services model for specific clients as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or related field;
1-2 year relevant or analytic experience, candidate with more experience will be considered for senior position
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals to both internal and external parties;
Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Mandarin is a must;
Knowledge in private equity fund is a plus;
Work independently to solve problems and can manage time under tight deadlines;
Proactive, self- motivated, detail-oriented, keen to learn, flexible, multi-task, team player.
